Skiing with the Lech ski schools: group and private lessons
Arlberg and alpine skiing simply belong together. Young skiers learn the ropes at the ski schools in Lech, advanced skiers enjoy well-groomed slopes in the spacious ski region Lech-Zürs-Warth-Schröcken, while off-piste fans indulge in the adventure with guided tours and downhills.
Group lessons: Lessons in six different performance levels from beginners to masters are offered for teens and adults at Lech ski school. The group lessons take place when reaching the minimum number of participants of four. Grouping takes place 30 minutes before the start of the lessons.
Duration of group lessons for skiers: Sun-Fri, at least four hours of lessons per day. Entering the ski course is possible every day (exception: Saturday). Beginners’ courses start every Sunday, Monday and Wednesday.
Meeting point every day between 9.30 and 10 am – depending on skill level – please ask upon application!
Private lessons: Both ski schools in Lech offer private lessons. Benefit from first-class lessons in individual atmosphere – when and where you want! Your ski instructor gladly picks you up at Hotel Sandhof and accompanies you back at the end of the lessons. Private lessons are possible for every skill level and age, certainly for small groups and families as well.

Snowboarding on the Arlberg: group and private lessons in Lech
Snowboarding on the Arlberg is proper fun! The snow sports instructors of the two ski schools in Lech are at your side from your first attempts at free-riding beyond the slopes. Similarly to skiers, group and private lessons are also offered to snowboarders. Practise with the best trainers in eight different skill levels at Lech ski school.
Lech ski school group lessons: day lessons, 3-day lessons and week-long lessons. Start for advanced boarders possible every day (exception: Saturday). Beginners’ lessons start on Sunday and Wednesday.
Meeting point for all snowboarders is at 10 am at Schlegelkopf valley station.

offers one gentle type and one very spectacular type of winter sports:
Snowshoeing cross-country for winter sports enthusiasts who want to see the mountains from a different perspective. Snowshoes and ski sticks can be borrowed. Duration: 2.5 hours, at least four participants, date upon enquiry.
Ice climbing: 10 minutes away from the centre of Lech, the Lech ice climbing garden offers the ultimate challenge for climbing aficionados. Trial training for interested persons and guided ice tours on frozen waterfalls on the Arlberg upon request.

Get to know and love the great ski region on the Arlberg! Experience the most beautiful spots, routes and vantage points around your holiday resort of Lech on skies with a ski guide from the Lech ski school every Sunday.

Heliskiing on the Arlberg: unique in Austria!

Tips: Heliskiing on the Arlberg is only possible from Mon-Fri, not on weekends or public holidays. As the current weather and snow condition is decisive for this type of skiing, only short-term reservations are possible. Please contact the office of the Lech ski school with all questions!
